March 9, 2012 (Indianapolis) - Nyhart is pleased to announce that Retirement Educator and Consultant Eric Roberts recently received his Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation from the Center for Fiduciary Studies. A designee must demonstrate a thorough understanding of and ability to apply fiduciary practices. Eric completed training on the legal issues related to mitigating a fiduciary’s liability as well as fiduciary best practices.
As an AIF®, Eric can help fiduciaries understand their duties. With this designation, he also has the background required to help them implement or perfect processes and procedures related to the management of investments.
AIF® designees are known in the industry for their ability to develop a prudent process for their own investment practices, as well as for their ability to assist others in implementing their own policies and procedures to limit exposure to allegations of investment mismanagement.
