Actuary and principal Tayt Odom consults to a variety of diocese, government, and private employer defined benefit plans. He advises clients on a variety of pension administration matters including outsourcing administration.
Tayt oversees an actuarial staff that provides valuation services to more than 40 clients, and typically serves as the primary contact for the client’s day-to-day issues. Among his clients are a number of church organizations as well as a variety of private employers.
A University of Notre Dame graduate, Tayt started his career as an actuary for the global consulting firm Hewitt Associates (now Aon Hewitt), counseling clients on defined benefit plans and retirement benefits, as well as gaining certifications and experience in the field. He left the company to join Nyhart in 2005.
Tayt has been married for 8 years, has two children, serves as an assistant football coach at Lapel High School, and is an active member at the East 91st Street Christian Church.
