Suraj Datta is a healthcare actuary who consults to both public and private employers. He specializes in Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) 43, GASB 45, Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) 106, health care rate calculations, incurred but not reported (IBNR) reserving, and design and financial modeling, among other health care actuarial issues.
In addition, Suraj provides business development and consulting support to Nyhart’s Consumer Driven Health (CDH) administration team, which is comprised of FSA, HSA, HRA, COBRA, and VEBA services. He is also a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
Suraj is married, has 2 children, is an avid fan of Purdue athletics, and enjoys playing basketball.
