Nyhart handles more than $14 billion in retirement and employee benefit assets. Dave Sherman oversees Nyhart's information technology services that support more than 1,000 companies in 48 states.

For more than 24 years, Dave has overseen the infrastructure design, security and management for the financial services and insurance industries. His expertise in information security and platform management enables Nyhart to provide cutting edge technology services for clients and participants.

Since joining Nyhart in 2003, Dave has overseen the development of a variety of critical retirement and employee benefit platforms including personalized portals for managing benefits, smartphone applications for Android and iPhone devices and countless actuarial and benefit calculators and tools that enable Nyhart to provide cutting edge services to governments, associations and corporations.

Dave is a member of the Indianapolis Chapter of the Society for Information Management.

Married for more than 20 years with two children, one of which is at IU, Dave is an avid fisherman and baseball player.
