Position Type:  Full-Time


The account manager is the primary contact for an assigned group of daily valuation clients. The 401(k) Account Manager requires attending to the clients’ requests.

Job Responsibilities


  • Communicates with plan sponsors, advisors and participants regarding plan questions/issues.
  • Performs and communicates annual plan discrimination and coverage testing results.
  • Calculates employer contributions and forfeiture allocations for plans as required.
  • Reconciles plan data each quarter for quarterly reporting to participants and clients.
  • Compiles information necessary to complete the annual 5500 series return for the plan.
  • Works with conversion team and supervisor on new client transitions.
  • Assists Processing Technicians with payroll or benefit questions/issues.
  • Ensures that day-to-day operations and tasks are processed timely and accurately.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
  • At least two years of defined contribution plan administration/recordkeeping experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with retirement plan regulatory statutes.
  • Experience with Schwab RT Recordkeeping software preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
  • Computer Proficiency.
